Over 50 animals made of recycled manufactured items
Nests created from welded steel rod
Cast-bronze, aluminum and pewter eggs

Goal of the Museum

My goal in opening my Unnatural History Museum is to bring people of all ages, particularly children, into the space to experience the art and to raise awareness about the plight of animals and the pressing need to care for the earth and its inhabitants.

Artist's Statement

My work tells the story of the impact of civilization and industry on the environment. It’s about the growing threat our industrial society poses to the interconnectedness of all living things and to our very existence. Inspired by specimens and artifacts in museums of natural history and anthropology, I imagine what we would leave behind, what would be found after we are gone, and what that would tell about us.
